Hail to the Daddy! is a sitcom based on the traditional Turkish idea that “your child will remain a child forever”. It is the story of a man cool and distant to his children, yet tries to keep them from every bad thing in the world.  Even when your kids are adults and have their own children, they are still “children” for you in traditional Turkish idea and the hero of this show believes that he is a father forever and ever. When your children are very young you try to keep some secrets from them not to hurt them, but as time goes by your children become adults and they start to keep some secrets from you not to hurt you!
